Francisco Cantu, author of "The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border" details his experiences as a border patrol agent from 2008-12 in the deserts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Cantu illuminates issues of border crossings/immigration/sanctuary seekers and the toll in human lives; both physical and emotional. He will read and present a Q & A.
Tickets are: $20, general and $16 for SOMOS, Taos United, TaosImmagrant Allieis and Harwood members.

On the following day, Saturday, 5/25/19, from 10 am to noon Francisco and speakers from Taos United and Taos Immigrant Allies will present a free panel discussion at El Taoseno Room on 120 Civic Plaza Drive.
